Wondering what's going on in and around Lausanne? Check out our picks for this week:

  • Running & Women’s Health Evening — Tuesday. An intimate evening dedicated to women’s running at MotionLab in Lausanne, bringing together a sports gynecologist and a sports physiotherapist to explore how to train smarter, prevent injuries, and better understand the female body in sport. The session is designed for active runners who want evidence-based insights in a small, engaged setting (limited to 30 participants), followed by a Q&A and an apéro to close the evening. A focused, community-driven moment at the intersection of women’s health, performance, and sport science.
  • An out-of-the-box social gathering on Wednesday. F*ck The Small Talk and Epic Lama host a one-of-a-kind social experience where strangers come together for an afternoon of meaningful, fun, and deep conversation. It’s also just a different and cool way of meeting new people by getting a bit out of your comfort zone and skipping the small talk!
  • Sugar at Les Docks — Wednesday
Alternative rock fans have a rare opportunity to catch Sugar live at Les Docks for their only Swiss concert. Led by influential songwriter Bob Mould, Sugar became one of the defining alternative rock bands of the early 1990s, blending melodic songwriting with powerful guitar-driven sound. This exclusive Swiss date promises a nostalgic and high-energy evening for longtime fans and newcomers alike.
  • La Galerie des Rives — June 18 to July 6 (Pully Port)
Returning to the shores of the lake, La Galerie des Rives transforms Pully Port into a lively open-air cultural village featuring art exhibitions, concerts, creative workshops, book clubs, games, family activities, and community events. Designed as a welcoming summer gathering space, the programme blends culture, creativity, and lakeside relaxation, offering visitors plenty of reasons to stop by throughout its three-week run.
  • Cabaret Voltaire at Les Docks — Friday
Pioneering electronic group Cabaret Voltaire arrives at Les Docks for its only Swiss performance. Widely regarded as one of the most influential acts in industrial, electronic, and experimental music, the band has shaped generations of artists with its groundbreaking fusion of synthesizers, tape manipulation, post-punk, and avant-garde soundscapes. Expect a powerful live show from true innovators of electronic music.
  • Silent Yadlo — Friday (Morges)
Silent Yadlo brings an unusual and immersive cultural experience to Morges, combining music, atmosphere, and shared discovery in a format designed to encourage listening and connection. With a focus on slowing down and engaging with sound in a different way, the event offers a refreshing alternative to traditional nightlife and a chance to experience live performance in a more intimate setting.
  • Lavaux Classic 23rd edition — June 19-28. Classical music concerts in spectacular vineyard settings.
  • Pilates & Brunch at Binom — Sunday. Start your summer mornings with a Pilates session overlooking the lake at Vidy, followed by a delicious brunch at Binom Restaurant. Organised in collaboration with Pace Studio, these feel-good events take place every other weekend throughout the summer, from 9am to 12pm. A perfect way to move, recharge and ease into the weekend.
  • Fête de la Musique — Sunday
Lausanne’s streets, squares, parks, and cultural venues come alive for the annual Fête de la Musique. The city-wide celebration features hundreds of free performances spanning classical music, jazz, folk, electronic, rock, world music, and more. From established artists to emerging local talent, the festival transforms Lausanne into one giant open-air stage and remains one of the highlights of the city’s cultural calendar each summer.
