Wondering what's going on in and around Lausanne? Check out our picks for this week:
- Women Entrepreneurs Meet-up (Tuesday) - A chance for women entrepreneurs in Lausanne to connect, exchange ideas and meet other women building their own businesses. Head to Cospire Coworking for an evening of conversation, inspiration and new connections.
- Grand Rallye Vaudois (Saturday) - Think treasure hunt meets public transport: spend the day criss-crossing Vaud, solving a dozen mysteries and figuring out the smartest route to the next secret spot. Organised by Les Frères Brigands and Mobilis, the adventure starts and ends around Lausanne, with an apéro, surprises and a few competitive twists waiting at the finish.
- Pilates, Plunge & Sauna (Sunday morning) - Ease into autumn with a cosy wellness morning by the lake, combining a Pilates session with a refreshing plunge and a relaxing sauna. A collaboration between Bains des Rives and Maemok, designed for moving, slowing down and enjoying a little self-care by the water.
- Fête de la Châtaigne (Saturday-Sunday) - Autumn tastes better in Fully, where the village turns into a celebration of chestnuts, local produce and Swiss craftsmanship. Wander through nearly 300 market stalls, tuck into a traditional brisolée, catch live music and street performances, or head into the chestnut forest for a guided walk.
- Le Carac Rose (October 1–31) - October turns pink — and a little sweeter — as the Carac Rose returns for a month of treats, solidarity and breast cancer awareness. This year, the campaign also teams up with local brewery Dr. Gab’s, giving its alcohol-free Placebo RED a limited-edition pink makeover, with net profits from the collaboration going to Le Carac Rose. Pick up a pink carac at participating bakeries, or raise a glass with Dr. Gab’s, and enjoy a little local flavour while supporting prevention and early detection.
