  • Comedy on the Rocks: English Open Mic on Tuesday at Lausanne Cocktail Club. Comedians test out new material and continue to work out their sets in front of a lively crowd at this hip bar with fantastic cocktails. Donation based.
  • Every Tuesday evening, Café Saint Pierre invites you to “Jazz & Dine” night, organized in collaboration with the EJMA. A la carte menu, and reservations recommended.
  • Mathis Dumas is an outdoor photographer, filmmaker, IFMGA mountain guide and mountain sports athlete known for his ability to capture extraordinary images while climbing and skiing in extremely risky environments. Mathis will host a conference at Salle Metropole on Tuesday evening, during which he wil share his unique journey, his experiences in the heart of the elements, and the challenges he overcomes to capture these fleeting moments at high altitude. Prepare to dive into captivating stories and never-before-seen images that will transport you to the top of the mountains!
  • Shake things up by joining the Rock Affinity Classes at Montana's on Wednesday night. Whether you're a beginner or a pro, the sessions are tailored for everyone.
  • Bad Choices Standup Comedy Show on Thursday. A night of bold comedy as Tera Kilbride unpacks hilarious tales of life, love, and bad choices. Free donation after show.
  • The very first Creative Mornings Lausanne of 2025 will be on January 31 on the theme Journey. Through the lens of his work, guest speaker Antonin Niclass, a Swiss and French animation director based in Lausanne and London, Through the lens of his work, will discuss how the journeys we take—both in art and in life—help us grow, connect, and create meaning. The meeting will take place at Gotham, in collaboration with local bakery Trigo kindly offering the breakfast. Register for free here.
  • The Fabulous Quiz Dinner Party! is back on Friday at Perbacco. Come test your trivia with local comedian Max B for a high energy, fun and very sociable quiz.
  • "Nouvelle Vague" night at Brasserie de Montbenon on Saturday. A tribute evening to the new wave of the 80s; on stage at 10pm, LOVATARAXX , a synth pop duo who will kick off the live evening before handing over to DJ Lô and DJ Renö.
  • Les Accords Parfaits - Dinner and concert on Saturday with Máté Szücs (one of the world's greatest violists and former principal viola of the Berliner Philharmoniker) and Friends. A musical series at the Royal Savoy in exclusive partnership with Vevey Spring Classic festival for the 2024-25 season.

  • Château-d'Oex is hosting the International Hot Air Balloon Festival for the 45th time, with over 70 participating balloons from different countries. Ends on February 2, 2025.
