- Chocotreck (ends Saturday) - Lausanne is getting a whole lot sweeter with Chocotreck, a chocolate crawl bringing together creations from 10 local chocolatiers. Grab your 30 CHF pass, plot your route and spend the next 10 days tasting your way around the city — because apparently, one chocolate shop is never enough.
- STOMP in Lausanne! (Thursday-Sunday) - Bins, brooms, lighters and just about anything else you can bang, tap or stomp become instruments in this high-energy, no-dialogue spectacular. STOMP hits Théâtre de Beaulieu for six shows over four days, bringing rhythm, comedy and seriously impressive percussion to the stage.
- #cine: Screening of Le Cercle des Poètes Disparus (Thursday) - Ten years of #cine calls for a proper celebration, and what better way than a big-screen classic? On September 24, Dead Poets Society by Peter Weir will be screened for free and simultaneously in 10 Swiss cities, including Lausanne — a perfect excuse to revisit this much-loved film with a crowd.
- La Rincette Closing Party (Friday) - Rincette is going out with a bang. Join DJ Mathieu and an amazing lineup for one last summer session — the perfect place to kick off the weekend, soak up those final summer vibes and dance your way into the night.
- Lausanne Méditerranées 2026 (starts Friday) - Pack your bags for Andalusia without leaving Lausanne as this city-wide cultural festival celebrates the region through performances, workshops, talks and more. With events spread across the city and everything free, it’s a colourful invitation to discover Andalusian culture — in French, Spanish and beyond.
- La Nuit des Musées (Saturday) - Museums after dark? Yes please. For its 25th edition, Lausanne’s favourite cultural night brings together 29 museums across Lausanne, Pully, Renens and Ecublens, with exhibitions, performances and special events from 2pm to midnight — all on one €10 ticket, with free entry for under-16s.
- 24 Heures de Natation (Saturday-Sunday) - Fancy a swim? The Vaudoise aréna’s 24-hour swimming challenge lets you dip in for a few minutes or a few hours, solo or with friends, with no fixed time slot and a good cause behind every length. Swim at your own pace, and every kilometre completed helps raise CHF 1 for Fondation Planètes Enfants Malades, committed to improving the daily lives and well-being of children and adolescents hospitalized in pediatric wards.
- Charles Blanc-Gatti: Les Couleurs du Son (September 25–January 17, MCBA) - What if you could hear a colour? Lausanne-born artist Charles Blanc-Gatti spent his career exploring the connection between sound and colour, and this fascinating MCBA exhibition brings together paintings and audiovisual works from his experiments in musicalism. A must for anyone who likes their art with a little synaesthesia.
- Fête des Vendanges de Lutry (Friday-Sunday) - Lutry’s vineyards get their annual moment in the spotlight as the village fills with fanfares, guggen, live music and plenty of festive energy for the 78th Fête des Vendanges. Wander between the caveaux, catch the Sunday parade and settle in for a weekend that runs gloriously late.
- Fripsquare 3rd Birthday (Saturday) - Fripsquare is turning three, and they’re celebrating all day with coffee, vintage, music and plenty of surprises. Swing by for a cup-decoration workshop, a lucky wheel, a giant cinnamon roll and DJ sets from Leey and Tshitshi — plus the usual vintage, food and good vibes at their Chem. de la Joliette spot.
- Tavolata – La Tablée Conviviale (Sunday) - Sundays are made for long lunches, and this one comes with a view. Settle around a generous table above the vineyards of Château de Vullierens, where seasonal food, local traditions and good company come together for an effortlessly convivial afternoon.
- Vacherin au Four (Sunday) - Autumn has officially arrived when a Vacherin goes in the oven. Head to Brasserie de Montbenon for a gloriously gooey Vaudois classic, served at lunchtime from 12–4pm — because melted cheese and Sunday lunch are a pretty unbeatable combination

- Mike Casa Comedy Show (September 28, 29, 30) - Lausanne is in for three nights of English-language stand-up with Mike Casa, back after sold-out shows and a seriously impressive 400M+ social media views. Expect two hours of brand-new material, classic crowd-pleasers and a guest comedian at OPERA 5 — with dinner and drinks available before and during the show.
- Grand Rallye Vaudois (October 17) - Think treasure hunt meets public transport: spend the day criss-crossing Vaud, solving a dozen mysteries and figuring out the smartest route to the next secret spot. Organised by Les Frères Brigands and Mobilis, the adventure starts and ends around Lausanne, with an apéro, surprises and a few competitive twists waiting at the finish.
- Pilates, Plunge & Sauna (October 18) - Ease into autumn with a cosy wellness morning by the lake, combining a Pilates session with a refreshing plunge and a relaxing sauna. A collaboration between Bains des Rives and Maemok, designed for moving, slowing down and enjoying a little self-care by the water.
