- Mike Casa Comedy Show (Monday-Wednesday) - Lausanne is in for three nights of English-language stand-up with Mike Casa, back after sold-out shows and a seriously impressive 400M+ social media views. Expect two hours of brand-new material, classic crowd-pleasers and a guest comedian at OPERA 5 — with dinner and drinks available before and during the show.
- Maud’s Mixtape (September 30) - Say goodbye to summer at Chez Maud with an evening of DJs, good food, drinks and terrace vibes. From 6–10pm, let Collectif Lok11 take over the decks for one last beautiful evening outside — fingers crossed for sunshine!
- Jusque dans nos bras (Tuesday-Sunday) - Friendship, activism and violence collide in this powerful play about Alice and Mad, two friends forced to confront where they stand — and what they’re willing to fight for. Opening in Lausanne at La Grange, this thought-provoking production is recommended for audiences aged 13 and up.
- Lausanne Open Mic Comedy Nights (Every Tuesday & Wednesday) - Got a joke to test, or just fancy a midweek laugh? Catch Tuesdays, but Funny at Comedy Club 13 every Tuesday at 8pm, or Odd Wednesday Open Mic at Diff Sociobar at 8:30pm, where seasoned comedians try out new material alongside first-timers taking the mic for the first time. Come for the laughs, stay as an audience member — or sign up if you’re feeling comedy-curious.
- Autour du feu (October 1-9) - No two shows are quite the same at Le Petit Théâtre, where the improvisers turn ideas from the audience’s children into a brand-new story each time. This one-hour adventure is made for curious little theatre-goers aged six and up — come with an idea, and see where the story takes you.
- Opéra de Lausanne Hors les Murs at F'AR (Thursday) - The Opéra de Lausanne heads out of its usual home for an evening at F'AR, bringing the opera Mireille closer to the neighbourhood in a more intimate setting. A chance to discover the company in a different space and enjoy a night of music just outside the traditional opera-house setting.
- Books, Books, Books 18th Birthday (Saturday) - Eighteen years calls for a proper birthday bash! Test your literary knowledge at the Friday night book quiz in teams of up to five, with free drinks, snacks and prizes, then come back Saturday for an all-day bookshop party with treasure hunts, giveaways, sweet treats and special guests.
- Accords Divins – Vins & Chocolats (Saturday) - Wine and chocolate: two of life’s greatest pleasures, brought together for a delicious tasting at Château de Vullierens. Sip your way through carefully paired wines and chocolates in the beautiful château setting — because some combinations are simply meant to be.
- British Car Meeting & Wellington Menu at Le Manoir (Saturday, St-Prex) - St-Prex goes full British for the day, with classic British cars, entertainment and activities happening throughout from 11am to 8pm. Make a day of it with Chef Bernard Meynet’s venison Wellington at Le Manoir.
- Swiss Castles Day (Sunday) - Pick your castle and take a journey through Swiss history as 32 castles across the country open their doors for the 11th Swiss Castles Day. This year’s theme is “Travel”, with special programmes, guided tours and family-friendly activities — and several castles around the Lausanne region, including Chillon, Morges, Yverdon and Grandson, taking part.
- Fanzine Workshop at La Ferme des Tilleuls (Sunday). Forget glossy magazines — fanzines are the DIY, often underground publications made outside the commercial circuit, giving a voice to ideas, stories and movements that might otherwise go unheard. At this workshop, explore the history and practices of protest publishing before creating your own small-scale publication and adding your voice to the conversation.
- La Brisolée & Marché d’Automne (Sunday, Brasserie de Montbenon) - Fall has officially entered the chat. Head over for a proper Valais-style feast of roasted chestnuts, Fendant and dried meat, with an autumn market on the side — basically, the delicious reward for surviving another harvest season.
