ALL WEEK

  • Starting on Tuesday, celebrate Campari Negroni Week with cocktails at the stylish Pavillon Bar, where bartenders craft creative twists on the classic aperitif all week long.
  • The Phantom of the Opera opening night at Beaulieu Theatre. Andrew Lloyd Webber's internationally acclaimed musical, seen by 160 million people, will be presented for the very first time in French-speaking Switzerland. One of Broadway's biggest hits, to be seen from September 23 to October 5.
  • Tempo Forte - Multiple Shows Itineraries (Théâtre Vidy, until October 8). Théâtre Vidy kicks off the new season with a festive week of theater, concerts, an exhibition and a big celebration by the lake. Local and international artists come together to blend literature, science, fiction, reality, drama, dance, cinema, photography and music — from Flaubert’s Normandy to today’s Croatia and Congo.

  • The Story Lounge - Open Mic Storytelling Event at Diff_Lausanne. Come tell a story. It doesn't have to be funny, but it should be interesting. Link

FRIDAY

  • Teddy Hall: Too Naughty at Diff_Lausanne- A night of bold, laugh-out-loud stand-up as Teddy Hall and friends bring their sharpest comedy to Lausanne.
  • Discover unique, hand-painted ceramics from Portugal at Motel a Miio’s exclusive Pop-Up in Lausanne from Friday to Sunday! (Beaulieu Circulaire, Avenue des Bergières 10) Don’t miss this limited-time chance to shop beautiful tableware at special pop-up prices.
  • Fête des Vendanges de Lutry (Friday to Sunday), the three-day annual autumn festival, is back. Established in 1921, it celebrates the local wine-growing heritage and brings together tens of thousands of visitors.
  • Fête des Plaines-du-Loup (Friday and Saturday) celebrates the completion of the first stage of the city’s new eco-district with an official inauguration, family activities, a fun run, and community festivities. It’s a chance to discover the neighbourhood, meet residents, and enjoy its new public spaces.
  • À l’Abordage in Lutry from Friday to Sunday: a contemporary art & design event showcasing craftsmanship, furniture, art, and in-situ performances.

WEEKEND

  • “Marterey s’emballe – Les boutiques déballent tout!” Rue Marterey becomes a pedestrian-only promenade on Saturday, as all the shops offer a festive mix of clearance sales, pop-up stands, decorative items, vintage finds, and archive pieces.

  • La Nuit des Musées in Lausanne and Pully – Explore museums late into the night with special exhibitions, performances, and activities in Lausanne and Pully on Saturday.

  • Circus Knie is back in Bellerive until October 12!
  • Fête de la Brocante, Switzerland’s largest open-air antiques and brocante fair in Le Landeron from Friday to Sunday. Set in and around the charming old town by Lake Biel, the event gathers several hundred antique and vintage dealers from across the country and abroad. The fair covers outdoor and some covered spaces, and includes exhibitions in the château dedicated especially to old toys.
