Wondering what's going on in and around Lausanne? Check out our picks for this week:

  • A natural wines tasting with Vinatur et Smith & Smith on Wednesday at Culture Café (Morges, from 7pm). Two Italian estates will be presented: Ampeleia from Tuscany and Unlitro wine Domaine Foradori from the Dolomites; plus a French estate, Le Mas Del Périé by Fabien Jouves, a vineyard from Cahors. Tapas to follow.
  • Farm Visits: Five farms in the region are opening their doors for an afternoon where visitors of all ages can meet local farmers. Visit Ferme de la Bonne Foire (Savigny) this Wednesday.
  • July 10 and 12: Les Bobines de Valency. Outdoor cinema at Park de Valency with sports and sport competitions being the main theme of the screenings proposed.
  • Thursday afterwork at The Olympic Museum restaurant: “La troisième mi-temps”. Every Thursday in July and August, and on Fridays and Saturdays during the Olympic Games, bring your friends, colleagues or family and enjoy a special French-inspired food and drink menu on the museum’s panoramic terrace overlooking the lake. During the Olympic Games, the evenings will be accompanied by live broadcasts of the Paris 2024 competitions. On Saturdays, enjoy a line-up of live DJs presented by the Montreux Jazz Artists Foundation.
  • Friday workshop at Mille et un Fleurs: learn the basic skills to make your flower bouquet at the self-service garden in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, designed to be accessible to everyone, including children. You will be guided through the different stages of creating a bouquet, using a selection of fresh flowers available in the garden.
  • Lausanne Garden Parties: Five free and festive weekends around five
Lausanne parks, starting with Mon Repos this weekend.
  • Skinny Dipping in the vineyards on Saturday: Sedef and the Domaine de Bory invite you to a daring culinary experience with a delicious menu. The concept? Courageously dip your food into the sauce. All the dishes will be in the center of the table and sauces will reveal explosions of new flavors.

*Save the date* - Singer Dave Dario (seen on The Voice) will be back at newly opened Vaudaire (Vidy) on July 19, from 7pm to 10pm. Book your table!
