The Lausanne Guide’s Curated Corner

October 14, 2026

Usually, when we fall for something in Lausanne, we write about it. This time, we made physical room for it.

Inside the former Ausoni shop at St-François, our Curated Corner brings together work by local artists we want you to know. It’s a small space, but a lovely new possibility for TLG: somewhere you can walk in, see what caught our eye, and perhaps take a piece of it home.

For years, we’ve been exploring this city and sharing the people and places that make us glad to live here. Now, as part of WE ARE, we’re bringing some of those discoveries off the screen, with a rotating selection of local art and creative work chosen by our volunteer team.

Putting the first edition together has meant meeting artists, visiting studios and seeing familiar places through someone else’s eyes. It’s also meant measuring shelves, moving things around and asking, repeatedly, “Could this fit here?” Watching the work come together has been its own discovery: a photograph, a painted piece of reclaimed wood and a ceramic vessel each bringing something different to the same small space.

You’ll find postcards and prints alongside original artworks and ceramics, with a short introduction to each artist and links to explore their wider work. Whether you leave with something for your wall or simply the name of an artist you’d like to follow, we hope the discovery continues beyond the corner.

Every six to eight weeks, a new selection will move in, making room for more artists working in and around Lausanne—and giving you a reason to stop by again.

Find The Lausanne Guide’s Curated Corner inside WE ARE, Place St-François 5. And discover each edition and its artists below.

Would you like to be part of a future edition? Tell us about your work through our application form.
