CatCave9 Show (Saturday, Oblo Cinema) is serving one last night of spine-tingling improv terror before heading into the summer break.

OUTSIDE LAUSANNE

Lavaux Up (Sunday) annual event is back, combining sports, adventure, and stunning scenery. Participants race up the iconic Lavaux vineyards, conquering a challenging yet scenic route with breathtaking views of the lake. Whether you're a seasoned runner or a first-time adventurer, this race offers a unique opportunity to challenge yourself while surrounded by the natural beauty of the Lavaux region.

Morges Sous Rire (June 11-18). A comedy festival that brings the best of French-speaking humor to the lakeside town of Morges. Enjoy stand-up, sketches, and theater performances from top comedians and emerging talent. Performances take place in various venues across town.

The Diabolo Festival returns to Morges on Saturday and Sunday, offering a magical weekend for children aged 2 to 10 and their families. Held at the Théâtre de Beausobre, this 13th edition features a rich programme of over 14 performances and 28 creative, playful, and sporting workshops. Highlights include theatrical, magic, circus, and puppet shows, as well as interactive activities that stimulate imagination and joy. A true celebration of the arts, the festival fosters shared moments of discovery for all ages.

If you are looking for a fun way to explore Basel, don't miss Art Basel Week (June 18–22). A standout event worth the day trip is the Basel Art Summer Camp—a lively, community-focused initiative that turns Hyve Hostel into an open, accessible art space. The camp spotlights emerging Swiss artists, offering them a platform to exhibit and sell their work, while inviting visitors to connect through interactive installations and hands-on activities. This year, Lausanne talents will be in the spotlight: Kate Jones, presenting a special comedy-art performance, and Catherine Pearson, showcasing her one-of-a-kind custom nail sets.
