Les Toiles de Milan – Open-Air Cinema Festival (July 25-30, Parc de Milan). The beloved annual open-air cinema festival in Lausanne, offering a week of free screenings under the stars. Paléo Festival (July 22–27, Nyon)
Experience Switzerland's largest music festival in Nyon. With over 200 concerts across 7 stages, Paléo showcases a diverse lineup of international artists, street performers, and street food delights.

Au Pays des Enfants (July 23-27, Château-d’Œx). A family festival offering free workshops, street performances, circus acts, and ticketed shows under big tops. Highlights include a 240-meter zipline, treasure hunts, and creative activities for kids. It’s a magical experience designed for children and families in the heart of the Swiss Alps.

Discover the Vaud alpine pastures (July 26)– each July and August, the idyllic high-altitude farms in the canton of Vaud open their doors for family-friendly, convivial days in the mountains. Starting at 11 am, guests are welcomed with a drink, then treated to a hearty Gruyère AOP fondue, followed by meringue and coffee – all for a fixed fee: CHF 30 (free under age 10, CHF 15 up to 15).
