Wondering what's going on in and around Lausanne? Check out our picks for this week:

  • Stand Up "Spécial Couple” on Thursday at Comedy Club 13. Two comedians — a real-life couple — take the stage to say out loud what most couples think… but rarely dare to admit. Love, communication, sex, fidelity, awkward moments, and contradictions are all fair game.
  • A "Dry" Cocktail workshop on Friday at Brasserie de Montbenon; a fun workshop focused on non-alcoholic drinks, teaching you to shake and mix creative “dry” cocktails with guidance from the brasserie’s barmen and barmaids.
  • "Eddie the Eagle" screening at the Olympic Museum on Friday. #Cine invites you to discover the inspiring story of British ski jumper Eddie Edwards, who overcame so many obstacles to take part in the Olympic Winter Games. Test your knowledge after the movie with a fun blind test on sport! A fun and friendly evening combining cinema and the Olympic spirit.
  • After the success of the first two edition, Love On Ice returns on Saturday at the Vaudoise Arena transformed into a true disco. Solo, duo, or in a team, get into the mood with a welcome drink, put on your ice skates, and hit the dancefloor.
  • Japan Impact is an exciting convention happening on Saturday and Sunday at the EPFL. It's a celebration of Japanese culture, featuring a wide range of activities such as traditional Japanese dance performances, cosplay competitions, workshops, and authentic Japanese food stalls.
  • Après Ski Disco Party - Led by le Collectif 52, the Olympic Museum restaurant will become a dance floor for Saturday and Sunday evening to beat the Lausanne winter blues.
  • Enjoy a relaxing soak in the thermal baths of Bains de Lavey illuminated by candlelight.
  • Lausanne Joue is the unique weekend event to discover the world of games in the company of enthusiasts and professionals. Among the activities offered throughout the weekend: a board game bar, puzzles, construction games and other surprises. Free event, adults and kids welcome.
