- Montagne en Scène (winter edition) is back at Pathé Flon on Wednesday.
- Chez Maud is launching a new series of dinners, Les Harmonies du Terroir, showcasing the work of one local farmer alongside one local winemaker or beverage producer, through a curated gastronomic experience. The first edition will be this Friday, featuring a vegetarian menu created in collaboration with La Ferme du Taulard and Domaine Hôpital Pourtalès.

A chamber/classical music concert featuring works like Mozart (performed by Ensemble Fratres) in the historic Église Saint-Laurent in Lausanne. - Sens Unik at Les Docks on Saturday
A hip-hop/rap music event featuring Swiss act Sens Unik - Alwards Clean Party (alcohol-free D! Club music event) on Sunday. A daytime/early evening club party at D! Club that’s alcohol-free — good for social dancing and music without drinks.
- Booketins on Saturday at Bibliothèque Jeunesse (free event for families). It’s 2026, and we’ve all resolved to read more, laugh more, and speak more English and French!
- Brocante de la Gruyère (Bulle, Friday to Sunday)
One of Switzerland’s largest indoor flea/antique markets with hundreds of exhibitors selling vintage and collectible items at Espace Gruyère in Bulle (about 1.5–2 hrs from Lausanne). - International Balloon Festival (Château-d’Œx, January 24 to February 1). A colourful winter hot-air balloon festival with daily launches, flights, and activities — a scenic outdoor spectacle in the Alps
COMEDY NIGHTS
- Odd Wednesday - 1 Hour Show on Wednesday - Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday, Diff Sociobar will host a power hour of comedy! Starting at 20:30 sharp, the show will feature a maximum of 4 comedians and end by 21:30. It is a mix of experienced and new comedians doing a mix of new and tested material.
- Vevey English Comedy Night on Thursday - A monthly showcase of professional comedians at Les Caves du Cep. This month features Richard Cunha and Kat Jones.
- Sunday, Someday Open Mic Comedy - Every other Sunday, a very open mic for any level of comedian. Set lengths depend on number of comedians and the show starts at 19:15 and ends by 21:00.
