Wondering what's going on in and around Lausanne? Check out our picks for this week:

  • Join a cozy, creative knitting workshop at Little Maille’s boutique (Avenue de la Harpe) on Monday night. During this two-hour session, you’ll work on an accessory of your choice — from hats and scarves to mittens, slippers or wrist warmers — with all materials included. It’s a great way to learn new techniques, meet fellow yarn lovers, and enjoy the tactile satisfaction of knitting in a friendly, supportive space.
  • "La Tempête ou La Voix du Vent" — Shakespeare play at Théâtre Kléber-Meleau (Renens, from Tuesday to Sunday * LIMITED SEATS *)
  • Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker & Radouan Mriziga present a modern dance show at Vidy Théâtre (Tuesday-Thursday).
  • Slava’s Snowshow at Théâtre de Beaulieu — whimsical clown performance (runs through the week).
  • Nezquicoule — an opera for kids at Le Petit Théâtre (great for families) on Friday and Saturday at 15:00.
  • Vallotton Forever is the largest retrospective ever devoted to Félix Vallotton (1865 – 1925), presented in his birthplace of Lausanne at the MCBA within the PLATEFORME 10. The exhibition spans over 1 400 m² and brings together more than 250 works — paintings, prints, illustrations and press drawings — from Swiss and European public and private collections. Ends February 15, 2026.
