What are you up to this week? The sentiment this week seems divided between those who are adamant about celebrating Valentine’s Day and those who are vehemently against it. And us? We find ourselves apathetically in the middle (meh). One thing we CAN get behind is having a day to unapologetically eat chocolate and buy flowers…but why can’t that be everyday? 😉 Whether you’re a V-day fan or not, there are plenty of fun events to keep us all dancing, drinking, drawing, and witnessing beauty in different forms this week. Have a good one, friends!

Get your abdominal muscles ready, because Bleu Lezard is hosting an “Expat Comedy Night” and there are sure to be some laughs.

80s music at Lapin Vert every Tuesday.

Jazz night at Etoile Blanche.

If you’re a fan of James Blunt and/or Olympic/World champion figure skaters, then you cannot miss this year’s Art On Ice spectacle.

Your last chance to see Lausanne Opera’s performance of Anna Bolena.

The mudac and the Musée de la main are partnering up to bring you their newest exhibitions “Nez à nez. Parfumeurs contemporains” et “Quel flair ! Odeurs et sentiments”.

Empowered women empower women. This is a great initiative for women to come, share, and just be surrounded by those who are in search for a supportive, non-judgmental group to share troubles (no matter how big or small), or just sit and listen and be part of a greater community. The first meet up of the group called The Tree will be at Impact Hub this Thursday evening.

The weekly flea market at the CPO.

Ever wanted to learn how to make sushi? Why not spend Valentine’s Day rolling up some rice with your love? 😉

Or sing some tunes at karaoke night at Cafe a la Bossette.

Try out some delicious baos during Happy BAO’hour at Miam Bao Lausanne.

A Valentine’s Day concert at La Galicienne.

Professional animator? Amateur sketcher? Use doodling as a stress reliever? It doesn’t matter, as long as you like to draw and drink. Come to La Datcha, bring your crayons, and have a glass of wine and doodle/draw/sketch/chat at their first “DRAW&DRINK”.

https://www.facebook.com/events/2302173533344998/Go have dinner with Jorge from JSBG and get a chance to hear him chat about influencer marketing as he partners up with  Société Romande de Relations Publiques.

Create your own personalized jewelry with none other than Erelle from Baies d’Erelle.

Watch FC Lausanne take on FC Rapperswil-Jona at the Olympic Stadium this Saturday at 17h.

Have fondue under the full moon in Nyon on the lakeside.

If you show up to Brasserie de Montbenon for an early dinner, you’ll get a treat of a live pianist and vocalists for a concert entitled https://www.facebook.com/events/226756081575157/“Songe pour voix de femmes”.
