It was not until 2008 that women were accepted into the Confrérie des Vignerons (Brotherhood of Winegrowers)! Well, in fifteen years, they have made up for no less than two millennia of delay: now, instead of the “winegrower’s wife”, women are talented oenologists and winegrowers, who contribute greatly to the nobility of the terroir in Romandy

Each year, the Café de Grancy vinvites you to meet a dozen of them – and to taste their wines. Sharing, fellowship, and conversation, along with wines from the kingdom’s best winemakers, accompanied by the cuisine of Fanny Sueur and Macheret cheeses.
